“Worship can sometimes look just like surrender.”

One, two, C...

Charismatic and charming.

Who is he?

Elusive—

not a mystery,

just hard to hold.

Erudite and candid,

he speaks in truths,

but only the ones

he’s ready to give.

That smile—

Debonair,

and dangerously aware of it.

He entered my world

with no intention

of turning back.

Refreshing.

Real.

A romantic with his words—

he chooses them carefully,

speaks them immaculately,

and wields his tongue

just as well.

Spontaneously chivalrous.

Comfortably dangerous.

Caring.

Curated.

Close.

The first kiss was the beginning.

A softness I hadn’t earned—

but wanted.

Eleven Twenty-Eight.

I knew you were a keeper.

I just had to figure out

how to be kept

without losing myself.

And so I leaned in—

not knowing

that worship

can sometimes look

just like surrender.

xoxo, S.
